Two of his sons were 1st and 2nd in the same class at the November 2006 Scottish Winter Fair National Aberdeen Angus Calf Class. Moncur Jacob Eric FO63 was first prize calf and Reserve Supreme and Reserve Male Champion.
Moncur Evan was 2nd prize at the Royal Highland Show 2007 in a class of 24 bulls he then went on to be the only AA bull to win a 4th Prize in the Beef Recorded Bull Class against an entry of 26 Bulls of all breeds.
